Welcome to DEVPPL!

What do you mean by wad?.. I can think of several meanings including that word.

Now, I don't know how advanced you are, but if you are, I'm sure you can work something out from this:

If not, I'll try something later on..

Thanks, that a good starting place for me, I used that effect and then kind of made and out line of a paper wad my final result look cool with a black and white image.
Can’t seam to get it to look right with color one. Thanks for the help.. I’m not that advanced. I haven’t really come up with many of my own techniques but I can usually fallow a tut and add some stuff to it so it’s not just a carbon copy I know my way around but I am not and expert by a long shot. as you can tell from my image lol

I'm thinking one might be able to paint the wad.

1. make a paper
http://www.alanhettinger.com/tutorials/ ... er/002.php

2. Make wad with the lasso tool.

3. Use the burn tool and a soft brush, with a darker tone of the color on the paper, and use theese for mid- and dark shadows. Dodge tool (set to highlights or mid) for highlighting.
Search for a wad on google for a refference picture.
Start painting. I don't think you need the great artistic skills for this you should be able to do it ;)
