Making the letter C in Illustrator

Making the letter C in Illustrator

Postby PeterRoga on Wed Nov 11, 2009 8:48 pm

I want to make a logo with Illustrator by using my own font type. What I want to do is make the letter C. I want to make an unfinished circle of 270 degrees from a round dot with a certain stroke. This will result in a letter C with nice rounded edges. Is there an easy way to do that?

Define easy haha. I would google "measuring degrees", then drag an image of a circle divided into angles into illustrator, draw a circle over it, then use the scissors, and the add/delete anchor point tool to alter the circle. I'm not aware of a simpler way but there probably are several haha. Hope this helps.
