meta NAME="ICBM" meta NAME="geo.position"

Postby Beppe » Sun Sep 14, 2008 2:22 pm

Hi everybody,
I have created as an amateur my site http://www.casentinotoscana.com and I am trying to improve its ranking.
By searching the web I have found these code lines, referred to another site, that I don't know:

meta NAME="ICBM" CONTENT="38.90551492, 1.454004505"
meta NAME="geo.position" CONTENT="38.90551492;1.454004505"

Is it usefull to add this code?
If so, how can I find the numeric code to fill the CONTENT?

Thank you!
Beppe

That has nothing to do with the SEO, skip that part.

Try to get your code validated instead for now.

Thank you for the answer.
What do you mean by trying to get my code validated? I beg your pardon but as I said I am an amateur...

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http% ... omatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0

If you check the 'Clean up Markup with HTML Tidy' box it will help clean your code up but it sometimes messes the layout so make sure if you use that that you have a backup somewhere.
