Microsoft Media Player 10 - Review

Microsoft recently released Media Player 10, a new version of their popular player for music and video. The new version has some new features and the site Adrian's Rojakpot has done a review of the player and compared it with other players available on the market.

I still don't like Media Player 10. Its good for movies but I just cant use any other program other than Winamp for playing my audio songs. 8)

I preferred WMP9, 10 just doesnt look right.

Can it play .avi-files right, i couldet do that in v.9 or winamp

.avi files work fine on winamp. I doubt any other program can run .avi better than winamp.

The program VCL is the best .avi showing program there is. Support all codecs. www.videolan.org

Errmm... I never use Media Player. I just use Winamp for movies AND music. When Winamp doesn't do the job, I use BSplayer and when that doesn't fit the job.... I might just try to use Media Player...

You are right. VLC is best when it comes to watching movies. You can even play .img files in it without having to mount an image.

You are right. VLC is best when it comes to watching movies. You can even play .img files in it without having to mount an image.
The only thing I want in VCL is subtitle support. I haven't found that yet.

It does not have that in its current version. I have heard that they will include that to their next version.

For some reason VLC is not working on my PC. When ever i try to run it, it gives a "send error or do not send error".
