Well I know you guys are not big in hardware and overclocking but I just gtta let you know, this is a copy of another post from a hardware forum I do use aswell.
Well I have managed to raise my FSB even more now since raising votages for CPU and momory.

I decided to retry since getting a very small addition to my system that I though when buying would make very little difference if any at all an Akasa PCI exhuast fan.
I mainly bought it in the hope it may just slightly help my graphics card stay a touch cooler but after seeing the diffrence it made to my graphics card temps and main system temps I thought I should give overclocking my CPU another go and heres the results.
It's done good for £3.50
I just need to go though and see what diffrences it has made to my benchmark results.
EDIT
Sorry dude I just realized where I posed this message.
Too many beers again, well it is friday night, erm ok saturday morning. |

Its an Intel Pentium D950 3.4Ghz.
Its a good job latancy timing are not to important in Intel rigs though and I got good quality RAM to start with as my MOBO has raised the latency to take the stress of the RAM now the frequencys have gone up. |

I have had it to just over 4.5ghz but that was not stable it would cut out when using Prime 95 tourcher tests it was good enough to run Super PI, but what use is an unstable overclock I need it to be able to run all day everyday at the overclock I do?
I am very tempted to get some water cooling to find out how much more I can get out of it but have never liked the idea of water in my computer. haha
I know if you keep it well maintained there is no problem but I just dont trust water cooling just yet. |

Right I still dont have my water cooling as it is ment to be just yet so temps will go down once I have sorted that but here is my latest OC, I am not going to go any higher even once I got my WC working as intended as the voltages are high enough I am thinking. I could get it a bit higher but am not brave enough to keep playing to much at these voltages and speeds considering I am new to overclocking still and for the diffrence it is making I am not willing to risk blowing something to get it any higher.
Stable running 2 instances of Prime95.

This Super PI shows just how amazing the Conroe Super PI results are. A Pentuim D running at 4.7Ghz carnt even have a look at a standard Conroe chip.

After getting my last few bits I was waiting for (Couple of fans and fan controllers) I am well impressed.
Same system settings as before the CPU has gone from 53c to 48c and MOBO temp from 35c to 29c. (Full Load temps)
I am well happy even with all the fans turned down to 750RPM instead of 1600RPM (OMG how quite) temps only get as high as 51c full load
Latest OC as you can see from the temps I coulc still go higher but I dont dare. I wont be running it at 4.7Ghz anyways as I want to be able to turn my fan speeds right down, so I will be running 4.6Ghz still.
