My Photoshop Gallery.

Postby GOSISNOWHERE on Tue Dec 09, 2008 10:43 am

So I recently got CS3 and have started having fun photoshopping things. Tell me what you think. I prefer to photoshop things for comedy reasons or simply to express myself so here's just a few of my photoshops so far.

I took a photo of my door to practice putting things in it.
Sorry about the size of the images...

The following is simply a photo I found on the net, it was very hard trying to redraw the background behind him, it wasn't 'til after I had finished I realised I could have used a different background.

Just some things I did with the liquify filter.

I found this picture on the net also and while browsing through some Mortal Kombat sprite sheets I came up with the idea.

The man in this picture is the recent PM of our country, I dislike him for many reasons so I made this in his honour. I have no idea who he is holding, it was already in the pic.

And this last one is my sig. That is me in the picture.

Please comment, I will add more as I make them.

Not bad in the way of ideas...
1)get higher quality pictures if you are planning on editing them.
2)look into how to use the pen tool to get better outlines
3)get closer to the object you are cutting out, white pixels around the subject ruin it.
4)in the pictures of your door, it appears that each picture is overlapping the left frame of the door which ruins the illusion of them being outside and the second one with the spacy scene has poorly rounded corners.

Keep practicing, eventually you look back on what you've done and wonder what you were thinking to yourself.

with a bit of work these could be very good pictures, the thing is,

1) the tones dont match, what make it look bad
2) the path an pen tools can really help with outlines

dont worry we all started at something, i was like you at first an im still learning ! use tutorials they help and make u get high quality images
