Tables are not all bad - they are easy to learn and help beginners to create sites that look good.
They are also indispensable as they enable you to present data efficently and effectively.
however i agree with you on the point that CSS and DIVS should be used for creating the layout/structure of a site to improve its speed.

So, I did some divalizing to my website, but there's still a lot of tables in it. I also found out the hover on my thumbnails didn't work when I put an align="leftorrightorw/e" into the <img> tags. That's a bit crappy, because again I was forced to use tables...

I dunno... I just don't like the websites I built after a few months anymore. Well, the new design I came up with is even better.
And err... I keep on having trouble with those websites when I build them to be IE-proof. I stopped doing that from now on. I will build every one of them to be Mozilla-proof.
Besides that, I will try to stuff as much css into the website as possible, instead of stating everything in HTML.
Is the best way to state everything in HTML first, and when the site is done, stuffing it all into a stylesheet?

First of all I make the design in photoshop then I do the HTML/CSS/DIV code and try to make it as good as the photoshop image of the site. So I would think its waste of time to make a HTML/Table design and then cinvert it into CSS/DIV
