[newbie] navigation problem

[newbie] navigation problem

Postby jon80 on Mon Aug 16, 2010 4:48 pm

I need to design a website preferably using HTML, however, I'm stuck with a problem with the behavior of how browsers respond to the _parent attribute within the <a href..> element, and, licenses for ASP.NET seems a bit expensive so I thought VAMP was the way to go.

What would you suggest using to create a navigation bar, however it is important that the browser opens the window within the main (RHS) frame.

The skeleton website (including HTML source) is available at http://www.jon80.byethost13.com.

According to D. Matthew (http://dld.bz/sPHs) regular frame code should be <a href="page1.html" target="main">, if you need to keep the frame structure. Is it what you looking for?
