Need advice on how to implement a Yahoo style accordion box

I would like to make an accordion style drop down area similar to the way Yahoo.com does with their Mail, Messenger and Radio area. It's very cool where Yahoo uses a mouseover to drop the box down followed by a "loading ***" graphic. Any suggestions on how this can be done???
