[Request] Need help isolating picture

I need help isolating the girl in the picture. I tried using the quick tool, but it didn't work out too well. I can use the pen tool to a certain degree, but when It comes to the hair, I have absolutely no clue on how to proceed. So I turn here in ask of help. Picture is rather large, I'm hoping to isolate it, and scale it down to where it'll fit onto a 600x800 document with sufficient amount of space on either side for me to work with.

One word: Background Eraser Tool

It can be found under the normal erasor and is a litle hard to master the first time, but when you understand how to use it is a very great help. A tip is to combine it with the lasso tool and take it slow, just removing a litle at a time.

I started clearing up the picture but realised i dont have the patience or motivation so im wrighting this instead This kind of work takes time if you want it done well, unless you're a very experienced user!
