Need help with filter "Imagenie" and automate/batch function

Postby poul6963 on Sun Aug 30, 2009 9:39 am

Hi

I've been using PS for some time, but only on a very little scale for editing my photos. I take a lot of pictures and would like to have an easy batch execution in PS with the filter "Imagenie".

I like this filter since it, 99% of the time, makes correct enhancements to my photos. My problem is that it's old and probably is missing a feature. I've made an action in PS that runs the filter and would like to automate this, but I've got these two problems:

1. Everytime the filter runs, a dialogbox appears where I have to press OK, I've been looking around how to disable the question, but I can't since the Dialog Checkbox option is not visible in PS actionssets list.

2. When my batch saves the image, it every time asks in which quality to save the jpeg - very annoying, any way to set a default value so I'm not asked?

Hope someone can help me with these things :)

Thanks a lot.

When you recorded all your steps in the Action palette, did you do all those things? You have to make, while the Action is recording, to do EVERYthing that you're going to want your Batch process to do.

Also, I've never heard of or seen a filter called "Imagenie" in Photoshop...did you download it? It may have trouble when it comes to putting it into an Action simply because it's a 3rd-party filter.
