need help with gif image asap

hey guys in i edit a gif image to put on a website how can i put in a link so when people click on the picture it take them to the link i wanna add in. thank you.

Can't you just place the pic on the web page and make a seprate page for the link?

You can use something called ImageMaps. There's a function in Dreamweaver about it. You can also use an absolute-positioned div. But if you have dreamweaver and isn't familliar with DIV's, I suggest you go with that.

nope the image will be on a websites as a advertisement on multiple sites jus as a image and when u click on the image it would take u to the site that the image is showing
