Postby cerberus98 on Tue Jul 24, 2007 12:44 am

Hi everyone hope I am posting in the right forum.

I really need some help getting my companes logo to look like our partners logo. I am trying to make them look the same so they blend a bit better in a brochure that we are making could anyone help. Please see the image to understand what I am talking about. I need to know how they made the Yellow CME logo into the blue on to the right. I want to make my Longwall logo look the same can anyone help??

Edit>transform>free transform your own logo to turn it and give it some perspective with edit>transform>perspective.
Looks to me like they just added a rectangle with a gradient beneath the logo layer and then cutted it to fit the logo.
You can cut your by firt making the gradient. Then ctrl + click the logo layer to make a selection.
Now take out your rectangle marque tool and make a selection (hold down shift!) of the rectangle below the logo (e.g the part you want to keep). Now hit ctrl + i (inverse selection) and press delete.
