New Graphics Card

Postby Tomi on Thu Oct 04, 2007 7:32 pm

Hi, i have been looking on ebay for my new graphics card. I have found the same card twice but by different brands and slightly different prices (both in price range).

Here they are:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XFX-GeForce-8800- ... dZViewItem

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-eVGA-GEFORCE- ... dZViewItem

The first one appeals to be because its cheaper and its Nvidia. But the second one i dont know, normaly you pay for what you get so the more expencive the better but umm...

Any ideas?
ASAP, they end within the next 2 days :)

8800GT by far its better than the 3850 even the 3870 also. ;)

But if you get one of the new 8800GTS cards they are cheaper than the 8800GT and just as good performance wise near enough.

Graphic card

Postby albertjames on Tue Sep 23, 2008 7:53 pm

A video card, also known as a graphics accelerator card, display adapter, or graphics card, is a hardware component whose function is to generate and output images to a display. It operates on similar principles as a sound card or other peripheral devices. The term is usually used to refer to a separate, dedicated expansion card that is plugged into a slot on the computer's motherboard, as opposed to a graphics controller integrated into the motherboard chipset
