i kinda like the effect i got on my current one so i tried with a new image.



I might just post some more i came up with aswell..

i think this 1 is a little bit OTT (over the top) but i kinda like it.

Hmm.. You've got the potentials... But there are a few aspects I don't agree with.

First of all the blue stripes are excess mess.. I guess it would come out much more without them.. I kinda like the picture... SO there's nothing wrong with your style ^^... It's great... And also the red text could use another font or another color... It's not quite easy to read...

The second sig... I like the background and the figures on it (although I can't see what they/ it is/are ... )
And I like the yellow rectangle, but the word art you put on that is just.. Lets say, Noobish... Step away from these stereotype blending options.. ^^ A simple white grungy font will work better IMO...

Andy, I'm glad to have you here on DEVPPL... Because you're full of idea's and great styles...

The basic thing in my arguments is: LESS IS MORE... A signature doesn't need to be a collection of bevels, shadows, strokes and outerglows...

You will achieve major improvement in know time ^^... I'm sure of that...

(( Btw, IMO, your nick / tag is a bit overloaded by two Registered trade marks... One will be more than enough ))

yeah thanks man i know what you mean about the name, witch is why now on my just leaving them out =D.. and those sigs were just spontanious i don't quite know what i was thinking... i just did them and thought hmmm they look okay lol.

At least the new ones are from good games.

I think they are pretty cool, but I also don't think the font fits very well in the Bioshock one.

Probably you got blinded by your own work. Common phenomena where you don't see your own mistakes, as an act of 'growing up' with your artwork.
What you see is what you wanted to see... And that hasn't to be the same as what others like to see. Do you get what I'm trying to say?...

If you have an image in your head before you start, and work to that Image... You will pass choices where you probably prefer to step away from the image you had in mind because you get confronted with mistakes and errors you didn't plan to have.

It's that skill of stepping away from the flow in your and go the "visual-feedback way", that you should try to control.

With all this mambojambo, I only try to say: be critic with your own eyes, and let them say what way you will go, not the ideas in your head ^^...

I hope this is a bit comprehensive for you :p...

yeah i understand what your saying, thanks.

also to sky115 dont get me started! if you dont play the game at a competetavive level e.g for a team and compete in tourneys you havent seen the real side of it so dont go dissin a game because you didnt play it from the start or wasnt involved in the community! /rant

again imp thanks for your knowlage, i just need to keep trying till i get something that fits and then i will probabbly get used to the way things are supposed to look.
