new to game design
Hi, Sorry if this is the wrong place to be asking this question.
I am new to game design and only have previous knowledge with HTML and CSS (int-adv). I have would like to create a game similar to "worms", but don't want to compromise on the quality or the looks of the game. I intend for it to be a browser based game. I have started looking into Java as a way of programming it, but obviously there is a lot to learn this way, would Javascript be a quicker start or would I have a lot less options and if so are these options that I would really miss as a newbier?
