Newbie Help: Background Question

Newbie Help: Background Question

Postby Wizard Master on Thu Mar 29, 2007 12:15 pm

I apologize first as I am a beginner in HMTL. I have a background but also a table. I want the background image to be displayed on the outside of the table but I want it blocked in the inside of the table as its hard to read the text.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I am using Dreamweaver.

Switch to code view on your page and add in the bold text to your <table> line. It will look something like this:

<table style="background-color: white">

blah blah

</table>[/code]

You can use many different color names in place of white if that does not fit your color pallette. You can also use hex codes as well (#FFFFFF would be white).

P.S. For a cool tool that is great for helping you choose your web colors (and teach you a little more about hex colors check out http://www.colorjack.com/sphere/
