newbie with a question

hey guys, i just recently created a signature and intended on it blending in with the background. how do i make it so it does this, instead of having a white background?

I'm not sure if the forums here will accept transparency... but you will need to setup your file so the white there is transparent and save it in a format which keeps that information - probably a .gif or .png.
