Newbie with question!

Postby paulf on Sat May 19, 2007 10:05 am

Hi all. This is my first time on this forum so first of all hi to everyone here.

I need some help. I have been trying to take a pic of my car which was taken outside my house with brick walls and all in the shot. I have been trying to isolate the car from the background making the background white but am lost as to how it should be done.

I have been told that it is something to do with walking ants and then select car to isolate. I'm lost and in need of some help. Can anyone assist please.

It's kinda hard to do depending on the pic. The extract filter is often used for this sort of thing. You may be better off posting the pic and seeing if someone else can do it for you. Again, without seeing the picture, it's hard to say what the best thing to do is.

agree,
pen tool would also work.
but it's really hard to render with a nice result, so it'll take lots of practicing...

k guys...thanks for your thoughts. I've not actually taken the pics yet but as soon as I do I'll post the one I want to use to get your thoughts and idea's.

Appreciate the time you took to answer my post.
