Overlay an object

Postby kippy on Thu Jan 01, 2009 6:23 am

How cani I create the effect done on the flag colored football in the top banner of the following site?

www.armedforcesbowl.com.s13175.gridserver.com/

I tried to just add colors with the overlay blend option, but the color does not stay true to the color I tried to apply. instead it meshes the color of the ball with the given overlay color. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The correct link is http://www.armedforcesbowl.com , just the site uses a cheap redirecting script that fails.

I know about the hue jitter, but how do you set hue x? Thanks.

nooo that x] is a smiley with squinty eyes ;)

look up on top, your brush by default is set to normal, change it to hue and you can effect the color of the football without changing the shades, so just set your brushes color to completly red and start painting on the ball and it'll turn red!
