Page Scaling and Absolute Positioning question

Postby jeagerjr on Mon Apr 30, 2007 4:07 am

I have been creating flash pages for some time, but have never been able to figure this out.

I want to have a flash page with an black box across the bottom and top with a menu flush right that will not scale when the page is resized in a browser, but will always stay absolute bottom and move left and right depending on browser size.

I've been able to do this by creating a huge (off the pasteboard) box, but never without scaling (bigger/smaller).

Here is an example of what I mean

http://www.s-w-h.com/

When you enter, the bottom bar and two side bars always stay in place.

I sincerely thank you for any help.

If you have a table with a width 100% and height 100% which has text aligned bottom and left. This will keep to the full size of the screen and keeps the text bottom left of the screen. Hope this helps.

Of course, tables in HTML. I see how that works.

That brings up another question. If you put multiple flv on a html page, where do you put the preloader?

Thanks for the suggestion. It was obvious.

I appreciate the help.
