Photoshop Tutorial: Super Car III - Decals
Photoshop Tutorial: Super Car III
Decals
PureGraphix
Start with original
Simply take the lasso and make an out line of a graphic you would want to use on your car. (Neat decal pattterns made by using the boarders tutorial)
Right click on the selection and 'copy to a new layer'. With this new layer selected, go into the Hue/Saturation menu (ctrl+u). Check colorize and play around with the sliders until you get a nice color that you like.
Here are some other ones I came up with.
This is the one i used the boarders tutorial on. Just make a selection on a new layer, and do filter-distort-ripple. Once you get a neat shape, size it up or down to fit on the car. Now use the magic wand and make a selection around the decal, move over to the car layer with this selection still active and continue by copying to a new layer. At this point you can throw out the original colored layer, and just hue/saturate the copied layer.
