Pictures Opened in PhotoShop 6

Postby CadillacPat on Mon Jun 20, 2011 8:25 pm

I use my digital camera to take high resolution pics of HotWheels.
I edit the pics in Picasa but make no resolution changes.
When I open these pics in Photoshop to size them for the Internet, they open at 72dpi.
I would like them to open at 96dpi.
Can I just change the value in the resolution box?
Do you think they are being changed to 72 dpi in Picasa?

I want to use the pics on Ebay and they can be of higher resolution than 72 dpi.
Any help on what I should be doing?

Thanks,

CadillacPat
