how much would 3D Studio Max cost to buy???

I don't know, but I've heard that you get a BIG discount if you're a student. (It's like that here in sweden)

But 3D Studio Max is pretty expensive.

It's roughly two grand. It used to be alot cheaper and I've been upgrading my licence everytime a release came out with significant improvments over what I was using.
