Display adapters.

But you carnt change the performance of it in there though.

Why dont you just buy a graphics card?

They are not that expensive for jus a reasonable one.

It is easy to find out what graphics card your computer takes, but its not so easy to buy one with no money.

I got told by the people at the local PC repair shop that it says what kind on th emother board so I opened it up and I never knew where to look. Also I think my graphics have unstalled themselves like my sound once did.

How old is your computer?

What make is it?

The easy way to find out what slots you got is to just take look but as you found you need to know what your looking for.

Or you could just look up the details for your motherboard all you need then is the motherboard type.

You could find this out by using a program called Everest Home.

It's made by Time computers. I don't know how old it is I got it from a shop.
I always thought that the Moniter plugged into the graphics card. so I thought it was the orange bit above. I am not sure I had anything plugged into the PCI slots I will have another look tomorrow maybe even take a picture of it so you can help.
