Backdoor in Windows Vista?

Brittish government wants a backdoor in the upcoming release of Windows called Vista, which is due later this year. According to BBC they want to be able to read files which are encrypted by the operative system. Microsoft is not pleased by their demands and says that the goverment should contact Microsoft if they need help with such cases.

They should contact Microsoft in such cases because you can't trust the goverment and they could have anyone going through your PC.

Which such backdoors, there will be hacks out on the internet in notime. Microsoft is sure doing the right thing when they don't agree to this.
