Problem with HTML after slicing website in photoshop

hi

i have done 1 page of website fully in photoshop and then slicing them.lastly codings them in html in dreamweaver for editing..

when i try to do html codings, it seems that image after slicing in photoshop is distorted..:(

so can i copy codes and paste them here or attach html file here?

do u see 6 small rectangles on white color webpage? dont understand why they appear? something to do with wrong html codings?

So where it has the lines? Because I got it to look normal here But ignore the window on the right.

Right well to start with I think the problem is being caused by the spacer gifs.

But you should not use Geocitys cos they add javascript at the top and bottom of your coding that is not valid and will cause head aches for you.

Also tables should not be used for layout anyways, tables are for displaying tabular data, CSS should be used for layout.

you also have alot of styles in your coding, you have an external styles sheet so use it.

i use tables when i make sites :P

i dont see a prblem as they can come up with the same results

I also used to use table until I found that it was the wrong thing to do.

You dont have to read all these links they all say petty much the same, once you understand why tables should not be used for layout no need to read no more of the links.

Tables are old school and were the way to do layout in the 90s but this is the year 2006.

ash,how do u resolve this? remove?

btw need your clarification about slicing photoshop in cs...so u mean after i do slicing ,load in dreamweaver and amend html codes that is different from slicing ...
does it mean need to set up tables in dreamweaver and import images from slicing into tables issnt it??

is there any tutorial to show me step by step from scratch?

pls guide me along
