Won't let me connect to Chat?

Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection timed out: connect


Im getting that error whenever i try to connect to IRC through Java, do you know what the problem is in simple terms and how i can fix it?

Yes, and i never got these errors until i updated.

Then uninstalll the update :D

Just found out that it was the actual server the chat was hosted from and that was why i couldn't get on. False alarm, thanks for your help anyway Ash :).
