Couple of link exchange sites

Postby johneva on Wed Feb 22, 2006 1:01 pm

Here are a few of good sites for link exchanging.

http://www.linkmetro.com (free)

http://link2me.com (free)

http://www.linkmarket.net (free)

http://www.linkalizer.com (free)

http://www.gotlinks.com (These used to be free when I first signed up with them so all old sites still get the service for free, but they do charge now for new sites, but they are still very good)

Happy linking. :)

Hi and welcome to DEVPPL.

If you trade links with other sites within the same "theme" as your own, you don't spamm but getting thousands of bad links and give 1000 links to other sites, it could only be positive for your SEO.

As webmaster has just said yes exchanging links do work and very well too.

But you must becarful just what sites you link to as linking to lots of irelevant sites or sites that are using black hat techniques can even get you banned from the search engines.

yeah I dont want anything to do with those sites anyways 8)

edit: Hey also sites I see high in the search engins I cant find any links to other websites... do they make a different page for this that is hidden or what? thanks in advance.

Yes your right about black hat techniques.

It depends some sites dont need to do link exchanges cos people want to link to there sites anyways. Sites with helpful info such as tutorials and how to pages automatically get loads of links.

Then your can also get links though directory submissions which means you dont need to have links back to there sites, same with article submission or if you buy links.

Large sites tend to have a smaller site(s) and do three way link exchanges, so A links to B and B links to C that way C never links to anybody. ;)
Then yes some sites will even have a directory for link exchnages but hide it. (bit naughty though really). Directory or links pages (Resource page or anything else they have called it) should be linked to by the home page really.

Na if you write an article about a topic related to your site and include links to your site in it there are article directorys that will take your page and display them as pages on the article directorys site meaning you get links to your site.

These are good as the link is within a page with lots of content and related content to your site.
