I come from a photoshop background but I don't have much experience with Illustrator. I need to put fronds on movie poster. I have the fronds that I want to use but I need them to be larger, so I imported the art work (the fronds) into Illustrator so I can perform Live Trace. Everything worked out well, but I don't know how to keep the art work on a transparent background. I want to bring it back to ps and paste just the fronds on a transparent background. When I import it from Illustrator as is it comes in with a white background. I know in ps I can crop out the white and do a little work to get rid of any jagged edges but is there a way to bring the work in from Ill on a transparent background? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
