Help needed on Rendering...Desparately :(

Postby ad2043 on Fri Jun 16, 2006 3:39 am

I have a file that need rendering.. however it took me more then 13hours.. to just render one sixth of the file.. is there something wrong with my drawing?

Let me explain my drawing.. I have a red tinited glass on a display rack. I tried rendering with normal omni lights and there isn't any problems. It just takes me around 30mins-40mins max to finish render the same file. However, when i have "skylight" in replacement of the omnis.. it becomes a very very long process.. Why is this so?

I suggest that you try to use vRay as your renderer. You can download a free test-version from:
www.vray.info

It should speed up everything a lot.
