These are some recent images created 100% in GIMP. No photo manips, just paths, gradients, etc.

Also, I don't know what the deal was with the bicycle theme, just a phase I guess!

Yes the car was just a sketch that I colored in GIMP. I started by creating paths around each individual piece of the car, then with the selection still active, I begin shaping the objects with the airbrush tool. These are usually 100+layers that I can change the wheels etc.
