Photoshop Tutorial: Make a 'DEVPPL' avatar

I have a problem loading the photo onto the this forum. I saved it as a jpeg file then tried to load it to the the web but nothing comes out, what happened?

can some one help? thx!

Maybe the image is too large? Or the file size?

im having problem making this avatar at this step

CTRL+Click on the layer with the rectangular box in to select it, press CTRL+SHIFT+I to inverse the selection, press DELETE to delete the black color that's outsite the rectangular box, press CTRL+D to deselect. You should now have an image that looks something like this:

Delete?? you mean the Delete button at the keyboard or?? If yes,i pressed it and nothing happen :?

I think your problem lies in the selection. As far as I can see, there's no faults in this tutorial.

My question to you then: When you CTRL + Click on the layer with the rectangular box in to select it - where do you CTRL + click?

Yes i know there's no fault on the tutorial but i asked what DELETE button i must press?? DELETE button that on the keyboard or??

Oh sorry, yes. The Delete button on the keyboard. Below "Insert" and left to "End"
