bad quality text - why??

Postby melitta on Mon Aug 28, 2006 1:28 pm

Hi!

Ive had this problem twice now, and I cant remeber how it got solved last time. Making small pictures for banners give me really bad text quality.
I have tried various dpi's, starting with 72 and all the way to 300. I have tried to change in previoulsy made pictures (where they've had good text quality) but the bad text comes up anyways.

It turns out really pixely. And making it bigger and better quality from the start, and then make it smaller, doesn't seem to help. It still turns out pixely. i have also tried restarting the program and start from the very beginning with new canvases. Nothing helps.

I really hope someone knows what I mean and can help me solve this mistery.

In the text options on the right hand side of text size dropdown there is another dropdown called that has two a's next to it. This is the anti aliasing setting, yours is probably set to 'none' hence the lack of smooth edges.
