A normal line

Postby bar_ba_dos on Fri Sep 15, 2006 10:00 am

Hi all,

I am new to Photoshop. I have a pdf picture I want to edit with Photoshop. I want to add some lines and text, as simple as that!! But if I plot a line using the line tool, it creates a line with with grey pixels around it (is it plotting a vectorized line??). My question: how do I get a normal black line?

Thanks

The easiest way to do that is to use the rectangular marquee. Change the Style to Fixed Size. Set the width and height settings to how you need them and click on your image. A selection the size of the width and height you typed in will apear. Flood Fill the selection with black. Next, go to Select > Deselect or hit Ctrl + D. Haha, that or you need to simplify your line layer (right click layer and hit Simplify).

Hope that helps :)
