How to input or convert fraction measurement?

Postby mango8 on Sat Sep 23, 2006 3:10 am

Hi, I need to input 5 15/16" x 4 5/8" for a new photoshop document. I have no idea how to do this. I'm am very horrible with numbers and was hoping someone on here can show me how. This is very much bothering me and any help will be appreciated!

(I heard that Illustrator converts the fractions for you but how can I do it in Photoshop?)

5 15/16= 5.9375. 4 5/8= 4.625. Plug those in to the new document specs, and away you go.

I don't know if Photoshop has such a conversion. I just converted it on a pocket calculator.
