Python Text Editor

Postby marlu on Wed Nov 22, 2006 8:36 am

I am going to study this language, could you please help and suggest whats the most convenient editor. There are lot of multiplatform in the web, but i prefer Linux/Windows base only (less complexity, ryt?)

i would be using python for our project in Blender.

also i will be very gratefull if you could tell me any convenient python manual and tutorial.

thanks in advance.

also, Blender has built in zoom functions, so we dont need to program it already right? once the project is saved we can automatically take a closer look or change the distance of the image right?

Notepad 2 does not have any guides, but it does have syntax highlighting. If you are serious about learning to program (and Python is probably the best choice to start) you are better without any guides and automated writing. You can use it when you learn and start working on real projects.
