Google Redesign Logo

Postby kevind_2007 on Tue Nov 02, 2004 4:24 pm

Hey All, I am new,
I was wanting some opinions on the Google Logo that I redesigned. They have a section for fans to submit their logos and I thought I would make one for fun. Thank you all!

The link is not working, you can link the image by useing the [ img] tags. If you need to upload your image somewhere, http://www.imageshack.us/ is a good site.

Looks good, but dont you have it in a bigger size, its hard to se the effects when it's so small.

That's a very nice text-effect. This is what I think you shuold do. Remove the blue-red-green dots and move the text (Can you keep up?) to the left, under the G on Google, maybe change to a pixel-font too.

Have you done the text-effect just by blendingoptions or have you used any other method?

Yea, I used blending methods and created a style and applied the style to the text. I don't know, I'm addicted to the dots, I might consider your thoughts bout that one though :)
