What is the difference between flash,dreamweaver, and fireworks?

Flash: Rich media applications, such as scripted animated stuff.

Dreamweaver: Web layout design and backend development with syntax highlighting.

Fireworks: 2D raster graphics program.

Flash: Animation/Game/Application Program
Dreamweaver: Website Making
Fireworks: Photoshop-ish
