My website

Hey guys, I thought I'd just post a link to my website. To most of you everything must be pretty unreadable, but my guess is you could give me some replies on the layout and the design.

I like the design, but ad an litle space at the top and at the butom of the page and change the bgcolor from white to very light gray or very light blue, almost withe.
I checked around in the site to and i found it very interesting, even that I dont know dutch, or how you spell it. So if you have some time over some time translate it into enlish.

I designed the website without any space at the top or the bottom on purpose. It looks as if it's merged with the browser, and besides, the white will be gone as soon as the site pages get larger.

On the color, I might just change the white to a lighter shade of blue, or a light shade of grey. Not right at this moment, because I am working on the website for my company, so I don't have to many time for my own personal creations.

Thanks for the comment though kalf!

P.S. A 'kalf' is a young cow in Dutch :P

It looks nice, clean and simple. I just have some things that I think you should change:

* Change width from 900 to max 770 pixels (for 800x600 users)
* Use 100% height on the page.
* Set topmargin to the same as bottommargin. Set them to 0 to get a 100%-heght page, or maybe 5-10 to get a 95%-height, I think both alternatives you be fine.

If that's true... than why did you take time to reply to this thread? :P
Anyway, tell me what should be changed according to you!

Because it took 2 seconds.

What should be changed according to me....hmmm...Trash the whole thing. It's nothing new. The same old crap I see everywhere. There's nothing innovative about it. The graphics are pretty lame and the coding is really simple. In fact most people would probably rip into you for using tables when you could have used divs. It lacks any substantial content. It's not worth coming back to.

It's a simple design that probably accomplishes what you want it to. It works. But again it's nothing to get excited about.

Look I'm not trying to be mean. My first post wasn't meant to be mean. It was just my opinion and so is this. Take it with a grain of salt. When you create a post asking for input you need to realize certain truths about what's going to happen. If all your looking for is praise then don't create a post like this, because your not always going to get it. Except the fact that more then likely your work will be ripped to pieces by someone you've never met and probably won't. Except the fact that you may regret you ever posted it. I could go on and on with this mindless rambling but i'll stop here because I need to get back to work.

LOL, I wasn't trying to be rude either. I just wanted some input instead of a simple opinion. :) Thnx for the opinion though!

You need to practise on your skills. If this wasn't your creation and you would enter it, would you then think to yourself? "Wow, what an awesome site!!"
I don't think so, but that's just me.
Take the time to study websites on the internet, read tutorials, learn by doing.
