hi guys,
I have learnt how to make preloaders but now i am facing a special situation...

i need to make a preloader for movieclips ( not the movie) see the concept is after the movie is loaded....u have various buttons on the screen and on clicking any of the buttons the associated movieclip should get loaded and then shoe up (after being loaded)

now the thing is....while the movieclip is being loaded i want a progress bar showing how much has been done while allowing the user to continue surfing on the page!

im sure there must be a way to do that.....help me if you can

I have one idea that could do everything you wanted. If you save each movieclip as its on move with its on preloader, then when they click on one of the buttons in the main form it loads the external movie. This will also mean they can continue lookin around the main movie while they are waiting for the other one to load.
