Help aligning a background

Help aligning a background

Postby Tomi on Sun Feb 11, 2007 11:54 pm

Hello, i have been playing around with this for hours and i cant find away to fix it... here is the problem...

That is what my page looks like when my css looks like...

http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/8655 ... csssc9.gif

what i want is for the big white thing that goes from one side of the page to the other (the background) to only be 297px in width and be in the center of the page aligned with the logo and nav (nav has its own problems at the moment)

so what i did was add width: 297px; to the css and this happend...

the whole thing shot to the left!

how do i center it whilst keeping its size?

Thanks
Tomi

P.S quick reply extreemly greatfull as i want to launch this project asap!
