Hi,
I have 2 simple questions.
1) Is there an easy way to scale a swatched pattern in Illustrator CS?
The only thing I can figure out right now, is to drag to the pattern to the workboard, scale it to the propper size, drag it back to the pattern palette and then re-apply the texture.
2) Can I tint the pattern? I design most of my patterns as black and white graphics (for screen printing).
As my illustrations develop sometimes I want to preview my colors to see how the final composition might look as a print. Is there an easy way to do this? Or do I have to use the same methodology as described above?

Hmmmm, i found this in the documents.
To modify patterns
Make sure that nothing is selected in your artwork.
In the Swatches palette, select the pattern swatch you want to modify.
Drag the pattern swatch onto your artboard, and edit the pattern tile on the artboard.
Select the pattern tile and Alt-drag (Windows) or Option-drag (Mac OS) the modified pattern on top of the old pattern swatch in the Swatches palette.
The pattern is replaced in the Swatches palette
and is updated in the current file.
There it is..
