how do I get rid of white borders

Whenever I print a picture from photoshop, the paper has an ugly white border along its edges. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get rid of it.

Ok, let's start with the basics. What kind of printer do you have?

an hp deskjet 5650

Hmm it seems the hp deskjet 5650 is compatible with borderless printing. You may need to enable it on the printer settings.

I always use a trusty pair of scissors to trim the edges, heh.

I'll try messing around with printer settings more. Trimming edges gets pretty inefficient when dealing with potentially hundreds of copies of something.

I've all ready messed around with page setup quite a bit, and nothing has made a difference. Anyways I think I've fixed the problem, I have to select to use a borderless paper size, I never scrolled that far down the paper options list before to see that was there.
