AI is great, I love AI.
But AI does not give me the required control on selective calligraphic line width. There are no plugins to do so and Scriptpgrapher crashes everytime I access tabletData. So I have decided to write AI Plugins myself.
The Adobe SDK is not very helpful on this, since it explains how to compile a plugin with Visual C++ 6.0 - a program not available anymore. Visual C++ Express and Visual Studio have a slightly different interface from 6.0 and I can't figure out what to do.
I'm sure writing plugins is no piece of cake, but I'm willing to learn. If someone could only tell me how this is done. I would be most grateful for a step-by-step explanation on how to compile a example plugin with Visual C++ Express or Visual Studio.
Thank you.
