OK, I'll be using the same original picture as my last topic.

Image

First make a selection around the outside of the bottom of the car with a 2 pixel feather.

Image

On a New Layer, fill this in with the neon color of your choice. Suggestions are, white, green, blue, purple, or red. These will look most real, but in photoshop, you can do whatever color you want. I used bright Green.

From here, take the soft eraser and erase some of the glow.

Duplicate this layer. And set the lower layer to Overlay.

On the Normal, upper layer, erase a bit more with the soft eraser, and lower the opacity to around 35.

whats going on, i checked out all your posts and was wondering if you do this for hobby or work. i have been customizing cars in photoshop for a few years. i never thought about the neon glow but have been creating body kits. im interested in finding out what else you can do.
