Creating an illustration from a photographic image

Hi Guys. Want to know how I can give my rizla image a more illustration effect. See image below http://www.exploitation.org.uk/LiveMusi ... /rizla.png

I want to get it to look the same feel has the following image I have seen while brwsing the web.

As you will see the white is more of an illustration. How can I do this in photoshop

I think this belongs in the photoshop section. Illustrator is a seperate program designed for creating vector like images. I think your image, looks like a napkin with crumbs on it :| is a photo with a photoshop effect on it. Im not sure which on or if that is the case but if i find out i will let you know ;)

I dont see why you wouldn't be able to do that in illustrator. Personally I like illustrator a lot more then Photoshop. The pen tool is your friend, just trace the rizla pape with different graidents of gray'white and black an you should get a good illustration of the paper.
