Stop the SWF from loading everytime

I have an animated Flash navigation header I developed for a catalog site. How do I stop it from loading from the beginning everytime a new page loads?

Umm, there is no way of stopping that I dont think. Have you got a link so we can see what your talking about?

ok, i have one idea which could work but im not sure and seems a pretty long way round but still here it goes. If you add in another url variable say 'play', then when you click on one of the links it goes to 'page.php?play=false' then in the navigaiton bars flash file you will check to see if play=false, if so then go straight to the last frame else play from the beginning. Do you think this could work??
