Help for my first project

Hello,
I want to create a little windows lerning dictionary program.
I want to add words with translation in program.
When program is started I want to pop-up The random word(in main language or in translation), when I fill The right - word - message "OK", when I wrong "Error" and right word.
I should to use a DB - I think MySQL is good.
Can you give me a little direction how I can start.My be steps of project.

Hi Yasen

You will need information about java JDBC interface in order to handle connection with database (you can try this tutorial : http://www.jdbc-tutorial.com/)

Also you would have to learn smth about java Swing forms (many tutorials available) to deal with graphical user interface

If you are completely new to java, I would suggest using Eclipse as your IDE
