PLEASE HELP: Problem Printing a Collage

Postby Apollo XI on Sun May 13, 2007 10:59 am

I went to the library of my campus, who said they could digitally print a photo provided that the person provides laser paper, since their printers only except laser papers.

So, I've made a collage for my girlfriend of the two of us for our one-year anniversary. I provided laser paper but, when I printed it with the assistance of a library worker, the image came out pixelated--which I can't tolerate, because it ruins the beauty of the collage, imo. The library worker tried to increase the resolution but that didn't work, so she said it must be a problem with the image itself.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong and how I can fix it so that I can print this collage out clearly, in the quality my girlfriend deserves to see it in, the way I meant for her to see it?

Open the project, go to Image> Image size, and let me know what the width and height dimensions are, in pixels. I can give more specific advice from there.

Better yet, if you could e-mail me the jpeg at tandemduo280@comcast.net, I'd be happy to take a look at it. It would probably be faster that way.

I sent you a reply e-mail. One thing I forgot to mention- when you resize the image, make sure you use a resolution of 300 ppi, not 72.

There are only 10 types of people in this world- those who understand binary, and those who don't.
